St. Francis High School Tennis Courts

This tennis court reconstruction project consisted of eight new bituminous paved tennis courts with a spectator viewing and bleacher area located between the courts.  The color of the playing surface is blue with a green background to comply with United States Tennis Association standards. The new tennis court fencing was designed to safely allow installation of windscreens.  The method of reconstruction included removing the existing pavement materials, installing 36” of non-frost susceptible sand, 6” of new base aggregate and 3” of new bituminous pavement. Larson Engineering worked with the school district’s facilities committee to review their needs of the school district and develop the project.
