The Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) estimates that fuel ethanol reduced the retail cost of every gallon of gasoline sold in the United States by $0.89 in 2012.

Larson Engineering contributed to this significant financial savings by providing structural engineering for facilities that produce more than half of the 16 billion gallons of ethanol produced in the US each year.

Additionally, JJ Rouman & Associates, a firm acquired by Larson Engineering in 2012, designed process, process mechanical and piping systems and provided structural engineering for greenfield plants with an additional capacity of 290 million gallons per year.
