Century College Roadway Rehabilitation

Century College hired Larson Engineering to prepare construction documents (plans and specifications) to rehabilitate the college’s north roadway located on the east campus. The project involved rehabilitating approximately 1,050 feet of bituminous roadway with concrete curb and gutter.

Larson Engineering conducted initial site reviews to evaluate the college’s north roadway in order to recommend the most cost-effective improvement alternative. After reviewing the pavement condition, Larson Engineering recommended the removal and replacement of the existing pavement on the north roadway. Due to the higher traffic levels on the north roadway; it was repaved with 4.5-inches of bituminous pavement.
