West Lakeland Township, MN

This residential subdivision consists of 16 lots on 56 acres. The project converted wooded property into residential lots while maintaining wetlands and wooded environments. Lots range from 2.5 acres to 8.3 acres in size. The site contains several small to mid-sized wetlands many of which feature no outlets requiring additional stormwater design calculations to establish finish floor elevations for each lot adjacent to landlocked basins.

Larson Engineering provided full design and partial construction administration and inspection as a project management consultant to the landowner. Design modifications were made throughout the construction process to save mature trees and to expand stormwater management areas for aesthetic purposes. Larson Engineering was present at township planning commission meetings and board meetings to address questions regarding the technical aspects of the project.
