Hawkins, Inc. Bulk Processing Plant

Larson Engineering provided civil and structural engineering design and bidding services for the construction of a new 65,000 square foot bulk processing plant/warehouse for water treatment chemicals on a 28-acre site. We also planned for future expansion to the building, tank containment areas, rail spurs, parking, and roadways. This effort required conceptual design services and coordination with adjacent landowners for consideration of neighboring development. Stormwater management consisted of sedimentation basins and infiltration basins to satisfy the City of Rosemount’s permit requirements of no run-off during the 100-year event. Basins were sufficiently oversized for planned future development of the site.
