Richfield Public Schools Athletic Facilities
Richfield, MN
Over the span of several years, Richfield Public Schools has reconstructed seven tennis courts, a nine lane, red polyurethane and rubber surfaced track and installed a new artificial turf field at the high school to create a superior athletic facility.
The seven tennis courts are used by both the men’s and women’s tennis programs, physical education classes and community education classes. The athletic track is also used by men’s and women’s track programs, along with physical education, cross country and the community for fitness training. The new artificial turf system that replaced the natural turf fields is used extensively for football, soccer, and lacrosse athletic programs, as well as physical education classes and community activities. In addition, the Minnesota Thunder semi-professional soccer team leases the new artificial turf field for practice and home games.
