Stillwater Early Childhood Family Center

Larson Engineering provided civil engineering site design services for the construction of a 46,000 square foot Early Childhood Family Center on the site of a former soccer field on the campus of Stillwater Junior High. This project received LEED Silver certification through the use of enhanced stormwater treatment with seven bio-filtration basins, parking preferences for efficient vehicles, pervious pavement and water efficient plantings among many other low impact development techniques. Other design elements included playground, loading areas, bus drop-off and re-striping of the existing adjacent parking lot for improved circulation.
